Seat comfort after changing the driver's seat fabric.

I had my facelift cloth seats re-covered a couple of years ago and since then the driver's side hasn't been quite as comfy as it was before the covers were changed. I have to have my seat at its lowest position and what's happening now is that I'm getting squeezed on the sides of my thighs in a way I didn't before. I haven't changed shape :-).

Before I take the seats out to have a look, is there anything anyone can think of that the person recovering seats might have done to create this situation?

Maybe the upholsterer refreshed the side bolster padding?

As above, but also are you being honest with yourself about shape/ weight change over a couple of years?

I don't think he did anything about the padding. I'll have a look when I dismantle the seat.

And yes. No change in the pant size.  ;D

Thanks though!

The new material probably has not had years of buttock weight stretching it out so will be more taught.
Do not know how this might affect snugness, that sounds like new cushioning used.

The foam/padding is attached to the fabric covering - what did he put back?
