Yes, you could use a Taurec replacement, just bear in mind that the odometer will always read in kilometers though.

The Taurec is probably the cheapest option to convert the clock to miles (and you have sexy logo options too  s:wink:  s:wink:  ).

My clock was converted electronically and the "k" in km/h was blanked out, so it now reads 0-180 m/h  s:shock:  s:shock:  .

I had the odometer done at the same time and certificated to reflect the conversion. Its legal to keep odometer in km though.

I'm wondering how you're approaching the SVA Roadrunner? The speedo conversion is needed for the SVA and the SVA is needed for UK registration. So whoever is taking your car through the test will probably have a preferred way of dealing with this.

Slightly aside from this - maybe worth a chat with Adam (JapGT300) about other SVA requirements as they've tightened up since I came through - I think you need stuff like the plastic under-nappy now too?

buy buying one privately, it was imported to the conuntry in 2002, so i think its been converted to m/h with the k blanked out... but i'd prefer it to have just normal mph!

so i'llbe buiyng one of these covers! they look fab aswell!

Ahhhh I see, soz u had me confused  s:shock:  s:shock:

So you're already recalibrated to a 0-180mph scale then. Yep, a new facia will be neat.

A UK cluster will plug straight in, this is where the mileage is held so you will not have the same reading.
