Hi Mark,

Sorry to bother you pal, just wondered if you could help me with something. Having searched the forum, I saw you mention that you can make the air intake louder by simply removing an elbow shaped hose from the airbox.

My questions are, does this hinder the car in anyway or cause problems? Also, in this picture:

Is it the small black tube with the elbow shaped bend in it just below the air box and is this the one you need to remove the rear left light cluster to remove?

thats the piece.

remiove completely and you will slightly lose power, but gain noise
best bet is to replacve it with one of my inlet ducts, (See the current GB)

Thanks mate.. I'll try with it removed completely and if I don't like the noise, I shall purchase one of your chromed chappies.

It definitely won't cause any problems though no?

you will need tochange the air filter more often but thats about it.

SteveJ ran his liek thsi for around 12 months IIRC
