My rear discs are extremely rusty on the part between the disc and the wheel so I popped into Mr T this afternoon to see if they needed replacing.
They decided that the rear discs were fine but the front discs had some bad scoring on the inner face and needed replacing. They took me into the workshop to show me and I got chatting to the mechanic, I mentioned the creaking noise that I get when reversing on full lock so they're going to replace the top mounts. Then he gave the car a thorough going over and decided there was an oil leak from the timing cover that they need to sort out. I mentioned pre-cats to him but he reckoned it wasn't a problem they'd come across although they had seen a few cat problems on other cars with the reported error being P0420 (CAT efficiency below threshold).
Anyway, the upshot of all this rambling is that they're going to do all the work under warranty ... except the discs, which if I get them to do it will set me back £285!
I'm sure I remember someone on here buying the discs for 40 quid and it's an easy enough job to do! Well worth saving over 200 notes for.
