Title: Head Unit Fitting
Post by: Anonymous on April 20, 2007, 11:52
Hi Guys,

Pick up my 2003 two tomorrow. Been doing some searching on this site for how to fit the head unit and come accross a number of posts (Yep used the search)

Now im comming from a Yaris T-Sport and went through a similar fitting experience. As such I have the following unit

 m http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/toyota- ... p-651.html (http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/toyota-facia-adaptor-p-651.html) m

With my stereo fitted. From what I can see this is the same one used for the Mr2.

One thing though, to fit the Yaris ive had to break tabs off to fit.

Is using the above method better than using the option that requires a number of Toyota parts? or would I still need toyota parts to fit the above?

Sorry for the vaugness, dont have the car yet to take apart and look.

Cheers

Ben

Cool cheers for that. Will take mine apart tomorrow and see what I can salvage from the Yaris install.
