Title: Rustfree rotors
Post by: Tem on December 12, 2003, 10:24
First of all, note that this post is in the Appearance Related area, so no need to tell that the stock rotors are very good  s:roll:  s:roll:
(we had that conversation already)

But does anyone have aftermarket rotors, that don't rust..? And obviously they can't be worse in braking than the stock ones. I don't need grooves or holes, but I can live with them, so everything goes.

A guy in the celica club had an AEM big disc upgrade on his 140 celica (probably the same parts)

They looked great with red anodised trim and graphics to the discs and it had brackets to move the existing calliper (front) out to match.

Have been searching for these for the 'two' but havnt had much success so far

FWIW, I had EBC discs on a car once - no rust, but they did warp like nothing you've ever seen before.. (But then so did the TarOx discs that replaced them..)

Not sure if EBC make a fitment for the '2, though..
