Title: Aerial Question
Post by: Anonymous on September 22, 2007, 12:23
Hey guys,

It seems my aerial has packed up, is there a way of raising it manually or is there like a fuse which might have blown? If so where is it lol

Sorry being dense atm lol

Fuses are as folows: - Gauge, Radio 1, Radio 2
Theyre all located in the box at the end of the dashboard, inside the door. There's a relay located on the drivers side inside the luggage area (not sure exactly how to access it. I can give some more troubleshooting hints if you want to take it further

no way to raise it manually i'm afraid. The mast section has a plastic snake attached to it that engages on a cog section in the base, if the fuses are ok then i'd be checking the signal and power to the aerial controller under the rhs cubby hole, and finally you could check the voltage to the motor although thats a bit harder to get to

I found the blighter this morning (thanks guys). I had already checked the relay after having searched on here, it was all dry and multi-meter confirmed it was working.

I had a loose fuse, seems weird but its working so fingers crossed it just vibrated out of place
