This could be an ideal time to buy items from the United States, the exchange rate today is $1.76 to the £.

It is a good rate - best it has been for a long time.

The only problem is that 99% of international percels are checked, then VAT and duty added (yes David, I know your Cusco bar wasn't caught, you lucky one percenter!  s:lol: :lol: s:lol:  ), which can add to the cost considerably  s:( :( s:(

Same goes for Japan...Yen is about 15% lower than some months ago...

12 months ago I was getting aroung 200 Yen to the pound.  I wish it would go back that high   s:( :( s:(

Really..?

I suppose Euro has gotten stronger against Pound as well then...haven't really been following it. Used to get some 115 Yen for Euro and now it's been up to 135 Yens...
