Title: TTE Foglights and Front Bumper
Post by: Anonymous on February 9, 2008, 18:46
Hello everyone, I bought the TTE Bumper and Foglights and recently the foglights arrived (car is still at the shop getting the bumper installed).  I was looking at the instructions and realized, I dislike wiring and I figured some of y'all from the other side of the pond would have done this before as TTE is more common over there and I was hoping you would have pictures of the wiring instal around the fuse box and switch (since those are the areas I'm not sure of.  Mainly, the power chord area and the on off switch in the cab.
Thanks for any help info,
Joseph.

Thanks, I read through but didn't see any wiring pictures and then I checked on Spydermagazine and the problem i'm having is that both of those installs seem to route the power cable back to the battery where the TTE lights are designed to work on the MR2 so you have to "braze" that to a white main power chord in the fuse box up front.  That's my main worry is not having a clue as to how to "braze" I will continue to search through spyder magazine to see how they wire up the switch.

Markiii will probably be able to help you - he had the TTE front bumper with the fogs and fitted it himself.

I have got the same bumper with fogs - but paid to have it fitted so I don't have a clue - however, I remember the fitter having a few problems with it.  I know that mine is wired up differently from Markiiis as when I put just my sides or the main beam on the fogs switch off and Markiiis stayed working.
