Title: Disabling reverse gear bleeps...
Post by: Anonymous on February 14, 2008, 21:29
As above really. I find it incredibly annoying because I know I'm in reverse! Is there a fuse i can pull or another method somebody has used? If it's a fuse can anyone tell me where to find it?
Likewise the seatbelt bleeps...
Thx all.

Miche.

cant help with the reversing, but if you reach under the passenger seat, there is a wire which connects to the seat. simply unplug that wire, and hey presto, the light stops flashing and the beeps also stop.  similar for the drivers seat, but i would not recommend removing that one.

There is a wire above the instrument cluster that needs to be cut, 2 minute job, i wired in a switch so that i can turn off the bleeper when reversing, and back on afterwards.
I believe there is a how to on spyderchat.
