start by removeing the dash, HVAC panel and everything else, the vents sit in a Y shaped tube that sits on everything else, so unfortunatley they need to come out to get at it

Are you saying remove the whole dash or just the heater panel part?

if whatever you had in mind could just sit in the ducts the that would open up options

Ok so question for anyone who has removed their dash.

What is the minimum you need to remove/undo?

Can you get away with not removing the steering wheel?
