Title: Monocraft Bandoh
Post by: Jap GT300 on January 9, 2004, 16:44
This one is mainly for slacey, I know you were looking for a wide bodykit.

Erebuni Corp are now offering a copy of the Monocraft Bandoh wide body kit for only $1279.  It is made out of FRP like the original kit.

These pictures obviously don't do it justice.

Yes it is more boxy than the model I have.  The 2003 GT300 was a lot more angular!

I've found an official picture

I'll take one of those, please....  s;) ;) s;)

Perhaps the colour isn't helping the Erebuni kit, being white, but it does look far too angular.. almost.. unfinished, in a way..

If you look closely there's a huge amount of side panel above the rear wheel on the white one compared to the racing one. Looks like the racing one is curved over more rather than squared off.

Front of the white one looks nice though   s:) :) s:)

These are road going versions of the actual race car.  I believe the GT300 has 20 inch rear wheels and 19 inch up front!  I think that would account for the lack of arch.   s:wink:  s:wink:

I can see where he's coming from, and yes huuuuge wheels would explain it.  But to be honest, I'd prefer it to be exactly like the racing one if I was going to bother, 20" wheels and all.

For the record...there are three different versions of Monocraft widebodykits...

The first version was the best...this one:
