My amp keeps switching itself off for no reason. I thought maybe it was overheating but then I came to it this morning had it on for a few mins, turned it up and bang it switched itself off.
Any ideas? I've checked the wires and no fuses have gone as it does switch itself back on when it feels like it, then goes off again s:( :( s:(
oh and the amp is a kenwood 350amp which is 3 weeks old and has been working fine til yesterday.
Check the speaker/sub wiring. Could be shorting +/- and shutting off due to overload protection. Check the power and remote wiring. Could be dodgy ground connection.

My power cable was slightly loose near the battery!
