Title: Anyone know where i can buy reasonably priced brake discs?
Post by: Anonymous on January 14, 2004, 09:08
Everyone I try seems to be crying about the fact that it's a 2001 car, a new model (from their point of view), and the discs are not readily available.
And as you can imagine Toyota's prices are not on the cheap side.
I'm in Essex, so if anyone knows a good place to go the info would be gratefully received
cheers

How much is much...? Fensport has these:
"Standard Discs Front
High quality Front Brake Discs
£94.00

Standard Discs Rear
High quality Rear Brake Discs
£139.00"

Prices are for a pair (without VAT).

I paid around £120 from Toyota for a set of front discs when I needed them. I couldn't find any 3rd party discs available unfortunately. Are you fitting them yourself? It's dead easy - even I managed to do it!

Naa, I need to be able to know I'm not gonna die!
I've got a spanner somewhere I think, would that do it!
(you get the idea about my mechanical abilities)

Might look into it though, Mr 2 do charge muchos for labour
