Title: Alarm too sensitive
Post by: keith macdonald on September 30, 2008, 22:53
Recently my alarm has started going off, [hood up], at the merest touch to the body.

I park it in my car port, and by just walking past it and just brushing it with my jacket the alarm starts.

Is there any adjustment?  or has anybody any experience of a similar problem?   s:? :? s:?

Hi Keith,

This has been discussed a few times before, this is one example  l viewtopic.php?f=31&t=19607&p=242269&hilit=alarm+sensitivity#p242269 (http://www.mr2roc.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=19607&p=242269&hilit=alarm+sensitivity#p242269) l

If it doesn't help, just do a search for "alarm sensitivity" and you'll find loads of help   s:wink:  s:wink:
Sounds easy to fix - lord knows why they suddenly get over sensitive, could be tied to battery condition or just age of the sensors.
Try adjusting it first

I just bent my bracket up by 2mm and it fixed it!
