I see that VDO and Blaupunkt have a DIN-sized 5 CD Changer unit which would fit below a single DIN player in the 2's Centre Console.
Drawback I guess is that it would be a target for theft, but it would be very convinient since it is a 'slot-in' type without a magazine ??
Any opionions or experiences with theese ??

It's a bit too obvious theft-wise for my liking.
That said there are quite a few mid-range company cruisers that come with in-dash CD changers now. Problem is they all look like part of the dash, rather than an add-in, and so probably less attractive to someone pinching them.
shoudlnt be a problem with the alpine version as it has a flip down front and looks like standard trim !!!!
but only avalibale in the states s:cry:  s:cry: oh and the price tag of $1000
why not just go for a normall CD changer ! they are very small now around the size of a tissuse box and will fit in teh glove box!
