Title: new system ??

Hi all  s:D :D s:D  

need some help again , I have been looking at changing the head unit in my car and the company on line have asked do I have an amplified car or not  s:? :? s:?  

looked on here but searching amplified doesn't bring up th right answer

if you haven't explicitly fitted an after market amplifier, the answer is no, you're not amplified  s:) :) s:)

MK2 came with an option for an amplified system from teh factory

MK3 didn't, whatever your buying sounds like they aren;t thinking of teh right car

thanks , think it may be best to pay the extra then and get it from a local audio store rather than off oline

looking at the Pioneer FH-P80BT unit seems to be the best for what I need   s:D :D s:D

It's a doddle to fit a head unit yourself - even I managed it and my spannering record is not a good one.  There's plenty of info on here about how to do it, so unless I was getting free fitting as part of a deal on a bunch of stuff (e.g. head unit, speakers, subs, amps), I'd save the cash and do it myself.

only going for the head unit and speakers going to diy it as the instructions on here are very clear

only diff is the cost about £50  so its do I wait a couple of days or go and pick up same day LOL

I'd wait and save the £50 - it's a lump towards your next mod  s;-) ;-) s;-)
