Title: Size of cubby holes
Post by: nathanMR2 on February 14, 2009, 13:07
Does anyone have the dimensions for the cubby holes behind the seats? Or the sizes of a sub box to fit in one of them?

As you are probably aware the sizes of the cubbies are different and the door is at an angle. TBH you would be best to get your tape out and go and check and compare it with your desired equipment. Apart from the "as is" measurement you might also want to consider taking out the end plastics or even the cubby box to get your desired fitment. The choices are endless, well nearly.

Many subs have been put in (speakers as well), so there are plenty of posts to peruse on the subject.

I have installed a 8" sub, in a custom made cube box.

It fits exactly, it enters without problems and the soft folds down exactly where it should.

I can measura dimeniosns and let you know if you want.

You can install a 10" as well, but i believe the cubic inside the box is for 8" better than for a 10".

Most people think it's a 12" anyway! lol
