Here is a better pic i found on Japanparts

Its only £186 + P&P.

Any ideas what P&P would be from there?

Here are the skirts

These are £335

And here is the rear (Altho i'd not get it as i have my bunper extensions

This is £217

When it lists colours in the details does it mean that it comes pre-sprayed?

James.

It's the TRD "Stage1" front bumper lip for 2003+...it requires the new bumper.

And yes, it's prepainted (only to all stock 2003 colours)

They don;t offer the bumper they just offer the splitter for the 2003+

They look like crner splitters to me?

If you look it seems as if it "hooks" over the cente of the bumper?

There is my standard one just to help you see clearer

The bumper itself is the stock Toyota part, you can get it from any dealer. I'm sure you can get it from Japanparts as well.

They aren't splitters, here's a good pic. Look closely and you'll see how it wraps into the opening from the middle:

This kit works on non metallic colours, not too keen on the amount of reflection on the silver 03

I've always liked the original trd stage 1 and have never been too keen on the version for 03..  the first couple of pics look ok, but the front corners look too big in that 'elegant' pic

the rear bumper also seems to be a bit bland - a bit of a missed opportunity...  if only if looked like the msd rear!

here's a challenge for you guys good with photoshop - the msd rear with the trd stage 1 front, if you get carried away, feel free to make it one of those flash models that you can rotate and spin etc!!  s:lol:  s:lol:    s:lol:  s:lol:     s:wink:  s:wink:

I think its the new kit that Toyota sell, so you could go direct to Mr T if your willing to pay the money.

Check this:

Just dont mention anything like TRD as they will have a panic and say no. Just ask for details on the latest bodykit that came out last summer.

I really really like the front of the kit , but am less sure about the rest of it, and I think the front would look daft without the rest.  Might see if there are any other suitable side skirts..
Title:
Post by: Chris on February 12, 2004, 14:44
that's the trouble i've got, but it appears that all the kits hang at different lengths, so the fitter would need to be able to sort that out...

I'd like side and probably front, but msd rear

Well i called "Parts" back and asked, they said the only styling they do for the MR2 are the rear spats.

I specifically asked about side skirts, front bumper spats, front bumpers anything - just said there wasn't one they knew of.

You reckon we can get discount with TOC Gold for that?

Cheers for those links though.

James.

I'm not a bodykit kind of person, but I have to admit that the front looks good, the sides OK, but the back really doesn't work, it looks a little like a random extra bit added to the bottom.
In my opinion only of course!

I don't think that's the TRD bodykit on that pic...

The front parts look like they are just two separate parts, not really a lip. And the side skirts don't look plain like TRD...and they are missing the dimple at the rear end.

tems right thats not the TRD stage 1. Must be the new front end UK kit.
