Title: Mr.T to fit my speakers?
Post by: Anonymous on February 11, 2004, 16:45
I am about to purchase some focal 165A speakers for my 2003 MR2. I haven't got a clue about the wires, depth, cables etc. So, I wondered if the guys at Toyota would fix them for me. I understand there will be a charge in this. Has anyone else done this and is it a good Idea??

Probably invalidate your warranty or someting stupid like that   s:roll:  s:roll:

Buster is your man - i think he wrote a guide on here somewhere and it looked pretty straight forward to do.

Yep, it is fairly easy.. but, if you still aren't confident, go to a good car audio specialist, they will do a better job and be able to fabricate (speaker spacers spring to mind) any bits the install may require. Probably a lot cheaper than Toyota too.

Dont go to Toyota... Any car audio shop will be better and cheaper.
