Title: Has anyone used the Toyota GPS Sat Nav system?

I was thinking of adding it to my next '2, is it any good?

I used it on a temp car they lent me whilst mine was being worked on. seem good to me, depends on the cost really, was as accurate as my alpine but I did miss the large screen to see the junctions

bear in mind it requires the oem headunit, which is pants in itself.

I'm not to worried about the sound system, i'd be happy with better speakers and a little dynomat in the door.  I was just thinking how much better my life would be at work with Sat Nav.

better off getting a Alpine or pioneer sat nav system even Clarion do one as well !!!! these are far supoior to the FF opition

Looked into it for the new Celica.  It was £1700, and it is basically a CD run one (ie you need to have a CD in the slot so cant use CD's whilsts its in use).

Looked a bit pants really, and like he said, you need to use the fisherprice radio with it.
