Title: selling my mr2
Post by: Anonymous on May 11, 2010, 09:16
after owning the mr2 for 3 months now 'ive never had a car thats encountered so many problems so i have had to sell. well trade in. the car needs two new rear callipers, gears are quite stiff forwards and backwards and theres a clicking sound on the front when braking when the car is warm. its a 2002 reg the garage is giving me back 3000 which is a 1000 less than i paid and not only that ive spent £400 on a clutch but i cant afford to keep spending money every week.

Did you get the car from a dealer or private?

Sounds like he is trading it back into the same garage.

lanceneoman

Sorry to hear your experience has been so poor. One sees so little in terms of people being disappointed with Roadsters. Those thoughts will be no comfort to you though. Good luck in finding another car.

Hence me asking the question, does this not fall into the sale of goods act, proper use and all that?
May have a case here?

the car has done 91000 miles. To be honest i loved the car but its going back to the dealer where i got it from. Im having a citroen c4 exclusive diesel for the time being as it is more suited for the 75 mile per day journey to and from work on the motorway. i will be getting another mr2 end of the year i think but one with fsh and low mileage and preferably an 03-04 plate
