Post by: Peter Laborne on March 11, 2004, 18:28
Whilst changing the headlights (look here (http://www.mr2roc.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=39066#39066)) I noticed this:

It's metal and it will rust. Especially if you take even one saltshower.

Who knows, maybe Toyota might replace it, but it will be the same again. That's why they cover everything with plastic panels these days  s:twisted:  s:twisted:

When i put my Cusco strut bar on Peter, i noticed the same thing, a quick once over with a light wire brush and then plenty of spray grease and a good layer of wax oil  s:) :) s:)
