Title: How do you get the windscreen surround off
Post by: Anonymous on March 16, 2004, 14:21
I mean the black plastic moulding on the inside.
I need to change my 'phone mic.

Basically pull the sides, it's held on with those little white clips... if you want to remove the whole thing then you need to remove the soft top latches (which are a bugger to get off) as the plastic trim is one big piece.

if your in your dealer for any reason I'd ask them to loosen them off for you.

that way if they chew up teh heads it's there problems.

They are loctited on and I can't shift mine at all.

I couldn't shift mine either when I was hiding the cable for the B2 Laser detector.

I ended up removing the visors & loosening the plastic all round except where the soft top latches are & jamming the cable under as best I could  s:oops:  s:oops:
