Title: auto h/u switch?
Post by: Anonymous on March 16, 2004, 20:04
is there any gadget out there which will automatically switch speaker outputs between a h/u and another sound device

i don't mind even if it is a manual switch especially if i can get it to control the power switch between the two items

Are you switching the Speaker connections or the line-in to the amp feeding the speakers ???

It appears from you post that you want to bypass the amp and connect directly to the speakers ??

to be decided but probably switch before the amp

i.e   h/u -----switch--------amp---------speakers
                 /
                /
other input

I think what adz means is he wants to switch two (audio) inputs into one amp, it's just his diagram came out a bit erm.. wrong  s:) :) s:)

Like this:

H/UNIT
   |
   |
   |
SWITCHER----AMP----SPEAKERS
   |
   |
   |
2ND INP
