I would say so - you can buy it as an option from Mr T by the looks of it:

Tem, I meant why a bigger tail pipe  s:roll:  s:roll:    s:roll:  s:roll:

I've toyed with the idea of putting a fake tail pipe on the other side to make it look like I have twin pipes, just got to figue out how to mount it.

the one on the car is tiny. trouble is all the ones i have looked at are to long to go on our ends as the pipe bends up just a little way under the bumper(sorry if you know this already)
the trim on the 03 is a bit bigger (thanxs for the link kris).
trouble is i need to find one to fit before i take the old one off as it looks as if i will damage it taking it off.
anybody know the size of the tailpipe without the trim on????
thanxs for all your replies.  s:D :D s:D

Hmmmm...don't, there are easier ways to make a fool out of yourself  s;) ;) s;)

The smoke is visible quite often and it's pretty hilarious when you see a car with "dual outlets" where only the other one works  s:lol:  s:lol:

If the 2003 trim fits then I'm sure it's big enough - it's about the same size as a TTE exhaust. Wouldn't have thought you'd want to go too much bigger unless you're up for rice boy looks  s:shock:  s:shock:

the h&s system is over priced.
i can get a custom system from a local suppler for £150.00 cheaper than the h&s(that includes fitting)one of the members has already had one fitted and it is a bang up job. i also get more options regards to sounds and tailpipe designs but i just have not got any spare cash otherwise i would go for the complete back box.
i just want something that is low in cost(around £30) and pleasing to the eye but without ricey boy size.

I would go for the '03 facelift trim as this is quite a reasonable size (4"x3.5" oval) and looks good. I'm sure someone of here must have a spare for sale  s:?: :?: s:?:

value for money is subjective, but I dispute that you can get more options regarding tailpipe or sound. H&S will do whatever you want, it's just that there are limits on what will be doen in teh scope of a GB>

thats a fair point but the problem with the h&s system is the more options you wanted the more the cost went up.this system i have been offered is a fixed price no matter what the option.
i dont want to get into an 'my exhaust is better then yours' debate as its going off the original topic , i was just replying to the reason as to why i have not gone for a full system.  s:D :D s:D

agreed, which is where the value for money comes in  :-) :-) :-)

teh only thing that really determines whose exhaust is best, is the person buying it.

If it does what you want, at a price that your happy with, and a quality that your happy with, then thats all that matters.
