Last time I drove my car was Thurs, Friday done my back in, consequently haven't been near the car all weekend.
Went to start her up just now and it took ages, 1st time it didn't want to know at all, tried again with a touch of gazzoline and it started up but with a god awful big black shitty cloud of smoke, very strong smell of fuel.
Switched it off and went had a look at the exhaust fearing some sort of hilarious yoof prank but it was clear.
Got back in the car and she started fine, went for a drive and all was fine.
Anyone any ideas what might have caused this, I'd only left it for 4 days, scared to go on holiday now!
p.s. it's a glorious day and my 'kin hard top is still on, and there's no-one around and I've got a bad back s:cry: :cry: s:cry:
Mine did this a couple of weeks back, a friend who was with me at the time reckoned it was flooded, I wasn't so sure.. has never happened since though. Oh, and mine is left standing for most of the week too.
mine does it quite alot but generally after i have been driving a bit faster than recommended
I've had this problem once, way back last autumn. Never happened since.
