Title: Does season affect prices

Just interested how much season as in top down motoring affects values..

Not massively I wouldn't have thought, but I bet most dealers will get around 1 to 1.5k more during the spring / summer over what they would fetch in the winter.

Actually, selling convertibles IS very weather and season affected. ANY car dealer will tell you that. My Dads best mate is a dealer and says that if he has soft tops on his forcourt in the winter, he has to drop the price by quite some margin to shoft them, if at all. As soon as the weather turns for the better, the price goes up, but the interest goes up with it.

Makes sense really........
