Title: What's the correct torque for re-fitting 02 Sensors ?
Post by: Anonymous on April 12, 2004, 14:33
Found this description on Spyderchat for a pre-cat inspection :-

"Remove heat shield bolts. First lift up shield, then unscrew each O2 sensor in turn, then remove heat shield. You can look down in with a flashlight. Retorque bolts properly."

What's the correct torque for re-fitting 02 Sensors ?

My 02 Sensor is due to for delivery this week.

cheers,
Puggman

I have no idea, but find they turn quite easily, then tighten very wuickly, there is no gradual tightening as with normal bolts. I just hand tighten them, then do the last bit with the O2 tool, but it doesn't turn much.
