I forgot to add the Trial to my list as well.

I think the front and sides are the danglies.....not so sure about the rear though. The front reminds me of a rieger kit that i nearly bought for my Astra.

Since someone kindly posted a pic of the Varis widebody kit it seams an apropriate time to annouce that Envy Performance have been made the English agent for Varis Japan.

 w www.varis.co.uk (http://www.varis.co.uk) w

As you can see Varis make very high quality body kits and cosmetic enhancements, for a very wide range of cars including the MRS.

We are currently updating the site and prices and more pics will follow very shortly.

We have placed our first order with Varis and the kits should be here in 4 - 6 weeks. We have ordered one standard MRS kit and a carbon cooling bonnet for stock, if anyone is interested please let me know.

Best Regards,

All at Envy

I think by far the best bodykit has to be the 'McBling FX470 MK5'

You know, the one with the new blingy wing, with side blings? Oh and that new nose-bling - thats just the nuts! The MK5 is much better IMHO than the new MK94 that they have just released as im not keen on the lack of bling on the blingers that were on the side of the blings on the MK5.

I spoke to the creator Blingy McBling last month and he said "the old 470 MK5 is still one of our most blingy creations and is outblinging us all the time. Our blingmisters here love creating all the bling for the kit, from the blingy-blings right down to the bling-bling-blings, its just such a work of art".

The kit is apparently now available directect from McBling and ive been told the new Blingmissis kit will be out next month and will only add 1.2 tonnes to the weight of the car (which is a whole 2 tonnes off the MK69 special edition 'bling' rice version that was produced in limited numbers).

RESULT!   s:D :D s:D

I think by far the best look for the MR2 is OEM

You know, the one with the same Bland back, front  and sides? (bland as in common therefore average) Oh and that nose - thats the same as all the others out there, their just the nuts! The Standard Facelift of course is much better IMHO than the old Standard PreFacelift that they always release. as im not keen on the lack of bland on the bland bitss that were on the side of the average,Standard, OEM, Bland one.

I spoke to the creator Mr Average last month and he said "our first model is still one of our most bland creations and is outboring us all the time. Our boremasters here love creating all the bland bits for every tom dick and harry to have, from the really bland standardkit that every one has right down to the thousands of identical standard cars out there, they are so common it makes us really proud!

The standard car is apparently now available direct from Toyota and ive been told the new even more common model will continue to be available next month as always, and will be much heaver than aftermarket f/glass bumpers because of the mass produced urethane dumpy ones used.

RESULT!     s:wink:  s:wink:

I think teh best bodykit is any that don't look like bodykits. Anyone can design something that looks like it was bought from halfords and bolted on in your shed with a pop rivet gun.

the style isn't the point, but it needs to look like it belongs on the car.

IMHO thats why most people criticise bodykits, design is all a matter of taste, execution and integration with what you start with is what makes a succesfull kit, and is probbaly why many people think OEM looks better.

I would think it is fair to say that as these pics were taken from whifbitz.co.uk, and if this is the case i would imagine that you can also purchase the kit from them.

The mirrors are made by a company called ganador and cost about £250.

Look like over priced M3 copies to me, i love them though.
