Title: chrome suff plates
Post by: Anonymous on April 18, 2004, 14:49
Hi everyone

Has anyone got chrome suff plates put on there cars?
If so please post pics so I can take a look as I can only find a few for sale.
At the minute the winning plate is this one.

Those are the official Toyota MR-S Japanese market sills, and are really nice... if a little expensive!
Japanparts is a good option for supply of these.

Try your dealer first with part number 08266-17030 (both), or 08266-17031/right and 08266-17032/left.

Just don't tell them it's a Japanese model part  s8) 8) s8)

Here is a better pic of the ones I had (yes, expensive, but definitely the best in my opinion)

I guess UK Toyota doesn't want you to have them then  s:? :? s:?
(they are available here)

Anyway, you can get them from Japan like Slacey said, try  m http://www.japanparts.com/ (http://www.japanparts.com/) m

Neither of them really help anyway, as it's the black plastic ridge above that really gets all the scuff marks!!   s:evil:  s:evil:
