Title: Height of car with TTE lowering springs..
Post by: MRMike on April 18, 2004, 19:42
Just a quick question regarding the lowering springs, didn't want to post in the GB thread..

Can someone please tell me how high an 03 MR2's front sits off the ground with the TTE lowering springs ? I know the springs are 35mm lower, but just wondered how real worls this affects the front.  The drive at my house is rather steep..my old mans car is 7" of the ground and scrapes..so i'm a bit concerned..My MR2 is 10" of the ground..minus the 35mm it would take it to 6.5" obviously this is too low. Was just wondering if susp components etc meant the net effect was a little less?

If someone could help out that would be great..then i might just be persuaded to get in on the GB

Many thanks

10" - 35mm is about 8" - 8.5" isn't it?
