I have TTE springs and Konis in a 2003 mr2. I live in the country, and some roads around here are not exactly flat. I have problems with my ground clearence and touch the road frequently (I'm not the kind of guy that drives slowly, just because the road has some bumps), and I also scratch the bottom of the car when going down my drive way.
When I'll need new tires (mine are new) I am going to mount 16' wheels on the front and 17' on the back, but in the meantime I have mounted two long pieces of nylon along the main chassis, one on each side.
The pieces are 1,5cm high and 2cm wide, and I get them fixed with 5 (each side) inox screws.
I continue to touch the road, but at least I know with what I am touching (and It's no big deal, when the nylon is done I'll just mount another), and now I slide safely on my drive way over the nylon sliders.
So far so good s:wink:  s:wink:
any pics?
