Title: Fitting prices for TTE springs!
Post by: MRMike on April 24, 2004, 13:11
Okay I'm sold on the idea of some TTE springs, but its going to cost a bloody fortune to get them fitted I've just been told that each spring required an hour and a half fitting and allignment time.. labour is charged at £55 an hour...so 55 x 4 = £220!! Still waiting to hear back off another close toyota garage I hasten to add..

I know Mark has kindly said he'll put them on but i'm still going to need an alignment check..has anyone got an idea how much that will be at a local kick fit?

I really want to get in on this GB but i can't afford that kind of outlay at the moment..how much have other people paid for fitting in the past?

Thanks Mike

so far no one has actually needed an alignment done.

I can check the camber which is the most likely to have an issue anyway.

while it's best practice to check, they can do that in about 15 mins.

don't think Sean has had his donw yet and it drives fine.

As Mark said, he has a camber guage and we checked that it was OK, the car then went into Toyota two days after the fitting and I asked them to check it was all within spec and perform an alignment if necessary - they didn't have to  s8) 8) s8)
