Less than 3000 miles and 4 months and I've been pranged again. Some git left me a present of a dented passenger rear wheel arch in Tescos yesterday. And I've not even sorted the damage caused when someone went into the back of me in Feburary. Before the MR-2, I've had almost 30 years damage-free driving.
Am I unlucky or what.
Just thought I'd vent to some understanding people.

Sorry to hear that mate.
I cannot begin to imagine how eff'd off I'd be if I came back to my car to find that.
You have my sympathies.
Do you know if Tesco's had any security camera's overlooking the car parking area? It might be worth contacting the supermarket and enquiring if you can view the footage or ask the police if they can do it for you?
Really sorry to hear the news though, people just don't care about other peoples property these days.
Sorry to hear about that Stephen, it happened to my brother 3 weeks ago and the police have got the tape from the CCTV but they haven't looked at it yet. It also seems to be happening too many times.
After giving my car a good clean yesterday morning I have noticed that some **** has left two 3 inch scuff marks towards the bottom of my drivers door which look dull. I'm sick that there are people out there that can do this. I've no idea how this was done as it is too low for a car but I'm guessing it may have been a shopping trolley of some kind. It happened whilst the car was slightly dirty so it wasn't noticeable as it is now.
I really want to get it sorted but I have already had enough fiascos with mobile cowboys ruining my bumpers just before JAE last year and then the consequent respray by Mr T being a lighter shade of black.
I seem to spend half my time worrying about where it is parked. I'm only relaxed when it's garaged. I hate to admit it but I'm starting to think that it may be time to sell my car. s:( :( s:(
Sorry to here about the car Stephen, hopefully the cam option Annemarie suggested may bear some fruit

I know I think that sometimes..but for me it's not so much the damagage to the car that annoys me..it's the mentality of the people who do it..and you won't change that even if you change your car. I've come to accept that although a nice car is going to be more of a target..ultimately if someone is going to be a jackass they'll do it anyway. Witness some idiots jumping on a micra bonet yesterday as I was travelling on a dual carriageway out of Manchester.
Hope you keep the 2!
I hope you keep the 2 too. I wince everytime I find a stonechip. But sometimes there are occasions that make it the complete opposite to a worry source and you don't always have to be driving.
Yesterday I took myself and the wife off to a chippie just off the M1 near Denby Dale. A silver MG/F turned up as we were sitting on a wall tucking into our fish supper next to our 2. A bloke got out with his girlfriend and he was about to stare at our Red 2 when the girlfriend glared at him to come into the chippie with him. Shortly he bounced out (with girlfriend inside left paying for and then assembling his supper into bags). He stood still for another minute just looking at the 2. On his face was a picture of pure longing and sheer lust. I don't think he had twigged it was ours, so he was completely uninhibited about his "worship".
There's no subsitute for seeing that happen to other people s:lol:  s:lol: !
Moments like that are priceless. I know the '2 will have to go eventually don't know I think it might be the Monday morning blues that is making bring that time forward.
I'm hoping that I can sort it out the scratches with Mer / Langka but the thought of using sandpaper makes me shudder. I just wonder if the door can be repaired by a reputable workshop without respraying the whole door.
I know exactly how u feel Stephen. A couple of weeks ago I noticed a few scraps and a black bit on my bumper after a tesco visit. Turns out the black but is the plastic under the paint. It is only the size of a thumb nail, but it is really annoying. The car is otherwise perfect appart from that.
What is really annoying is that these people who really seem to have forgotten how to drive and dont consider the consequences of their actions. Because of one of these types of people I am going to be down 200 quid or so!!!!!!

Hope you get it reparired..depending on the height..how about some Mr T side skirts, or TRD ones to cover it up?
No CCTV coverage. s:cry:  s:cry: A big sign saying 'We take no responsibility for your car while parked' though.
Mr T says it's a replacement rear wing jobbie.
