Why the hell did I drive the car as standard for nearly 2 years before I started to modify it? What was I thinking? I'm enjoying my car more now than I ever have, and all due to the mods I've carried out. Why oh why didn't I just bite the bullet and do them to start with?
Decent stereo? A godsend.
Decent Speakers? Should have done them before I even started.
Decent Horn? Can't believe my car sounded like Noddy's for a whole year.
Exhaust? Sportscar credibility in one easy step.
Under Dash Sub? Why did I wait 2 whole years?
TRD quickshift? Feels like I'm stirring porridge without it.
TRD Member braces? A revelation in handling and a total confidence booster, why didn't anyone tell me?
Anti-Flex plate? Who'd of thought £50 worth of aluminium could make the car so much better?
Mongo vents? Windows down, 100mph, no deafness or bad hairstyles, £15... Make your own mind up.
No Precats? Finally, confidence in the car to last more than the next 6 weeks without grenading the engine.
My advice to all of you wondering if you should modify? Do it, you can always put it back to standard afterwards, and theres plenty of eager buyers here for the bits you dont want...
Mongo vents what are these?!?! where do they go and what do they do?

I'm interested to know how the pre cats go back in. s:wink:  s:wink:
I know exactly what you're saying. I suffered with the stock exhaust for over 2 years before getting a fantastic twin exit... why did I wait so long!!!Still, it's breaking in quite nicely now.. lovely deep burble at 1600 rpm down the high street... s8) 8) s8)
Waited nearly 3 years for 03 side vents, but I let myself off as they hadn't been released before then!
Only one seized bolt stands between me and my Corky brace too... dmannit!!

I started the day I had the car! s:lol:  s:lol:
Was about 25 mins of ownership and decided the stereo was Y-fronts.
had the car 5 weeks now and ive....
- bought a 10" infinty sub
- get tax disc holder next week (birthday prezzie off g/f)
- removed the intake elbow to give you that induction roar for free!
- plans to modify the glovebox so it doesn't rattle s:D :D s:D
AND plans for a TTE twin exhaust this summer (that's if my hols doesn't end up costing me too much s:( :( s:( )
Umm, this time round the car was 20 mins old before it was up on axle stands and I had the drill out! s:twisted:  s:twisted: And I plan to continue as I've started... (Bev's gonna be sooooo pleased!)

I had my TTE exhaust ordered before I had the car!!!!
Then when I picked it up, I took it straight home, removed the wheels and painted the calipers s:lol:  s:lol:
I've had mine for about 4 weeks, and ive only done:
New Componant Speakers and Tweeters (thanks to busters spacers)
An 8" Sub in the 'boot'
TTE Dual Exhaust
TTE Springs (that reminds me, i have to pay Slacey on sunday)
Clear Repeaters (thanks to adam)
Now im trying to decide if I should just go for a standard trd stage1-style body kit, or save my pennies and go for a monocraft-stylee wide body (but then i'd have to get bigger wheels s:P :P s:P ) Oh and some 03 vents (dont beilve how pricey they are though s:( :( s:( )
Know that feeling!! I could barely wait to get started after being at my first meet to see some mods first hand! s8) 8) s8)
I'm not even driving mine at the moment, but still building quite a stock pile of mods to go on later on!!! I reckon I should add them one at a time, to feel the difference of each one individually... s:wink:  s:wink:
