DID IT FIT IN TO THE ORIGINAL FASCIA / SURROUND?
OR DID YOU NEED TO BUY AN FASCIA ADAPTOR PANEL SURROUND KIT ?
I really seriously need to do this, I hate messing around with CDs!!!! Was it expensive to do? How long did it take you?
I too would be interested in where you got the side facia adaptors from as I have just bought a very similar JVC unit (KW-DB60AT)
A quick search and it looks like we I need a FP-11-08 facia panel for the roadster.
i used this m http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 855wt_1163 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400295545058#ht_855wt_1163) m
still needed to use old surround
took me about 1hr in all
anywhere i can get the facia adapters but not the iso lead, already got the lead. for a jvc avx double din. excuse this i think i may have just found them. how do i know if FP-11-08 facia pane is the correct ones?
this is he one

are those the correct ones, i mean there arnt more to choose from. I dont want to order them and have to send them back. i hate returns to ebay
thats the ones i used for a 2006 mr2 still had to use surround from original stock hu mind
Stereo looks awesome.
I've just ordered a new unit for mine as well as the recommended ebay side facia and connector mentioned a few posts back.
Just a quick question. My facelift stock unit has 4 connectors going to the back of it plus aerial cable. The loom that comes with the side facia only appears to have 2 connectors on it.
Have i ordered the wrong connector kit?
Cheers
no you only use two, confused me at the time as well
Brilliant. Thanks. Does the power aerial continue to work? Cheers again.

yes works the same comes up when hu comes on, i wired mine to passenger window switch and leave it down as never listen to radio
I was thinking of doing that or replacing the coin holder with a rocker switch. Problem is... cant find a blank rocker switch to fit the gap.

I'm in the same boat, got the Connects2 Toyota ISO adapter, which has 2 plugs, but there are 4 going into the OEM headunit. Of the 2 that connect to the adapter one looks like it only has one wire - what appears to be the speaker cables are on other plugs. My car has tweeters in the doors as well as the main speaker, does this make a difference?
I'll try a test fit later, as even though they were ordered at the same time the ISO adapter has arrived, but the facia adapter hasn't.

Which model is this?
Looks great!
I tested the ISO adapter the other day, and despite not using 2 of the connectors to the OEM head unit my Aloine head unit seemed to work fine. My concern was that the tweeters wouldn't be connected, but dropping the bass & raising the treble showed they were working. The facia kit arrived today, so I can crack on with fitting it all this afternoon.
Help!!!
I bought a new head unit but when trying to remove the factory one it has a built in what looks like power cable coming from what would be the back left hand corner that goes towards the gear stick.
How do I remove this and reconnect my CD player
Sorry ignore this comment, me being a ruddy idiot
