I have the wheel, a first aid kit, fire extinguisher and triangle in mine and was planning on putting the tool kit in there.
I'm just wondering if anyone uses anything to secure the items to stop them moving around and causing noise/damage (to the bay or each other)?
I'm maybe thinking of getting one of my clients to knock something up for me to hold each item in it's own compartment. Good idea?
I've stuck allsorts in there and never bothered securing them - never been any noticable noise or damage, so.... I personally wouldn't bother.
The only problem I had was a windscreen washer fluid bottle exploded because of the heat s:oops:  s:oops: I now make sure that all the air is out of the bottle first.
Otherwise, firstaid kit, triangle, pump and go set all sit in there and not a problem.
Cream cakes not recommended as it gets vey hot in there s:!: :!: s:!: s:wink:  s:wink:
cleaning materials for the car and a bag every now and again. no noise whatsoever.
might look better but how many times do you open that lid to show anybody
personally i would think about putting everything in some sort of bag and wedging it in the bottom

By the time you get to that first aid kit or fire extinguisher, the whole world might come to the end. I suggest putting fire extinguisher behind your seat if it is small enough...
I have a disc lock in mine and i get no noise or damage what so ever.
I wouldnt worry about it mate.
I have an M&S lasagne, and two cartons of cranberry juice in their. Been there for absolutely ages, and I have no idea why I haven't taken them out yet.
Disclaimer: No lasagne's have been hurt in confinement. :Disclaimer
