Title: Changing my TTE twin exhaust
Post by: Darth Paul on May 7, 2004, 19:56
Took the car to the dealer today to get them to adjust the pipes. One sticks out far too much and is lower. They got it on the ramps and had a fiddle and a faff, but to no avail.  s:roll:  s:roll:  So it's back in on the 17th for a completely new one!  s:shock:  s:shock:

It never fails to amaze me the different lines MrT takes on TTE exhausts.

When mine was out of alignment they blamed everything including" it's the six speed gear box" and "thats the way they all are" etc etc

Let us know how the new TTE looks when they have re-fitted

Do you think your old exhaust would fit better on another car, I'm thinking it may be your car thats different in some way.

When Mr.T supplied me with a new hood, it took two hoods before fitting was OK.

Do you think they would let me have your old one at a knock down price?

Wouldn't hurt to ask – though I suspect they'll have to 'send it back'.
