Title: My Baby's had a Rectal (Now with pics)
Post by: Anonymous on May 11, 2004, 12:13
On my way to get part for my Astra stopped to let a little old lady finish crossing road and some yob gives me a rectal, bang right up the arse end.   s:cry:  s:cry:  He indicated for me to pull over, which I did, in doing so he swiftly did a 'U' turn and fuc*ed off. Tried to get a witness but they all said they did'nt see the car, all I know is it was a dark blue Ford Fiesta.

Insurance sorting it out, car will be picked up Friday.
damge seems limited to the rear bumper, will post pics later. Have looked inside engine bay, can see no damage lets hope there is'nt any more than I can see.

Will not loose NCB as it is protected but will have to pay the excess wich pisses me off.   s:evil:  s:evil:    s:evil:  s:evil:

By the time I heard the screach of his tyres he was off round the roundabout into the traffic and away, would not have seeen him through the maze of side streets he could have hide in.

Sorry to hear about this mate.

Fat chance of the cops doing much though, not their own fault though, I had a massive road rage insident last year, my car was f**ked up pretty good and the t**ser drove off.  Its difficult in these situations to think about getting reg numbers.

I now carry a digital dictation machine, and I record licences plates all the time now, before stuff could happend "just in case".

No doubt your b*stard was also driving with no licence, insurance and was probably pumped up on drugs too.  I really think they should make it legal for good law abbiding folks to carry pump action shotguns to protect ourselves.

Yep, reported to police, don't/can't do anything as no ID of car reg, like I said sure it was a dark blue fiesta, happened approx 8.20am.

I've no doubt someone saw waht happened and got the reg but people don't want to get involved nowdays in case of being targeted especially if they are known crackheads.

Its not the damage that bothers me it's having to pay out the excess and not being able to claim it back as well as some arsehole laughing and bragging as to how and what he's got away with, still what goes round etc.

Absolutely.... I totally agree!

I am really sorry for you Cartell, just can't believe the nerve of some people these days   s:evil:  s:evil:

It was probably better that you didn't go after him though, (sorry Jonny!) what with all that anger and adrenalin running through your body... I hate to think what could happen in that situation   s:twisted:  s:twisted:

Hope you get is sorted... at least you don't loose your NCB. I know it costs to protect it, but with so many incidents such as this, it is well worth that bit extra on the payments, and perhaps now keep a small disposable camera in your glove box!

What a b******d!  As you say, he probably thinks it's something to have a laugh about!

By contrast, I was beating myself up over the weekend, worrying that the bloke i hit on Friday might have his car written off and not get a good enough payout from my insurance Co to replace it!!

Having had some bastard hit me & run when parked in Tescos (being fixed as we speak, £250 excess, car 4 months old, 2000 miles) and some other git shunting me earlier (700 miles, 2 months old, still not sorted even though I got his details) - I feel for you. I wish all cars came with all round CCTV....

Knowing my luck the video tape would have run out at the moment I needed it to keep running.

Am sorry to hear your news - I can emphathise as this is so similar to what happened to me (except mine was a side-ramming incident).

1) any CCTV on that stretch of road that may have caught it? Or any business nearby that may have picked him up on their cameras? The police weren't too fussed about catching the tw*t that rammed me but I insisted they check all the local camers etc.

2) alot of insurance compainies seem to have links to a central fund where you can claim from if the driver can't be traced. I think it's more for injuries such as whiplash etc and if you've been rear-ended you could well have sustained such an unfortunate injury?? Ask your insurers about referring your claim to through the Motor Insurer's Bureau under their Untraced Drivers Agreement. My insurers automatically referred my claim to a solicitor who is pursuing this for me for free so if they pay up for my injuries it'll hopefully make up for the fact that I've paid out for the excess etc.

Hope this helps but if you want anymore info PM me?
