Title: Elise wheels
Post by: steve b on July 21, 2012, 23:17
Other than a larger centre bore that could be shimmed specs look good, in particular i'm interested in Team dynamics pro race 1.4G's they are forged Elise specific, 16 front 17 rear, 1 inch wide than stock and wheel position ends up about right as well as they are of lower offset.

Anyone tried them?

Only really thinking of going 16/17 as toying with the AP 4pot kit..

100, everything looks good with them as long as they don't catch body work.  By my calcs inner edge if wheel front 1mm less clearance, rear 6mm less.  Outer edge will be 27mm closer to arch rear 21mm closer to arch.

Might be worth sending Mattperformance a quick PM. He has years of experience in the alloy/tyre business, plus some Lotus dealership stuff too. Hes always happy to help members.

I've looked at them a few times. I feared that the offsets might be a bit too low. You certainly couldn't run wide tyres on them. It's a close call though. If you get them and you have no issues then let us know.
