Hello !
A few months ago, there were some posts on alternate warranty schemes, Liz <Ahem....suggested> recommended AA warranty which appeared to be cheaper and offer what MRT's extended warranty does ?!
My 3 years warranty was out in March, but I have 9 months Toyota warranty and am trying to decide what would be the best solution.
I will definetely get A warranty, I just don't know from who at the moment and would appreciate if anyone could let me know how the alternate schemes perform in a situation where a claim has been necessary ???
Is it as straightforward as a Toyota Warranty Claim ?? - what (if any) experiences do you have ??
Thanx

Just a ickle disclaimer, I didn't recommend, just mentioned it as an alternative as it appeared more value for money. s:wink:  s:wink:
I had RAC warranty on my Astra, they always paid up until they found a loophole.
Basically i had a service done early ay 48500 miles and the book stamped and the next one was on time at 60 000 miles (I had actaully asked for that one to be done early when the car was being reapired from some accident damage, but they forgot), they said that it had to be in "increments of 10 000 miles" not at a set marker, suppose its my fault for not reading the small print, VXL said their warranty would have still covered me, VXL paid 60% of the costs for the gearbox that failed in the end.
I can offer one from Warranty Holdings. A division of the Ford Motor Company and the Biggest Independent and Commercial Vehicle Warranty Company in the World!
