Title: removal of rubber exhaust hangers
Post by: wotugonado on December 28, 2012, 18:20
Well over the weekend I will be attempting to fit my new rear arb and tte exhaust  s:D :D s:D  can't wait........
Only problem is I cut my hand the other week and still don't have full mobility in my thumb, so with that in mind, what's the easiest way to get the exhaust rubbers off without the proper removal tool ? Any pointers will be greatly received.

A couple of sturdy screwdrivers and lots of silicone lube spray will help. Good luck with it.  s;) ;) s;)

There's tools for this process?!? lol

just PULL!   don't even need your thumb, two hooked fingers behind and PULL.

Adding any lubricant will help. Silcone, WD40, Once used a dab of flora margarine, worked a dream.

If we're not, I'd sure as hell leave those screwdrivers, hooks, picks, and pliers alone! Clearly you're all masochists...
