I used to have a clifford - good alarm. I was warned against the window closure from the fitter as they have a habbit of going mad, so you lock the car and one window will close and the other will open!

My Clifford 300 has given me all kinds of trouble, so probably just as well I didn't go for the closure module too! (just recently had my 3rd new Siren put in.. although to be fair my local ICE specialist have been great at billing Clifford for the faulty parts and their labour!)

There's been lots of posts on suitable alarms on here.. have a search and see what you come up with - I would NEVER get another Clifford though, if that's any recommendation!   s:wink:  s:wink:

I recomend LazerLine i only use these and out of all the different types i have fitted i find Lazerline a far better standard to the others,

it comes with everyhting possible, remote start, total closer, blackjax, micro-infa-waves, aircon remote start, bpoot relise, single door lock, and remote sirren out, proximerty sensors, and voise activated module!

Yeah fobs are avalible at most ICE dealers who fit Lazerline products,

The Cat 1 lazerline with remote locking = £450 fitted

The cat 1 with all the bits = £1400 fitted

big difference but i have been told by the guy that suppled me that lazerline say if ur car gets driven away from not having keys they will refund the money, but i have never had that said to me by a lazerline rep! suprise suprise   s:lol:  s:lol:

what can the voice activation be programmed for?

anything u want, unlock, lock total closure etc!

but the best part of the upgrades is the pager system! of where, once u set the alarm u take a pager with u that comes in the alarm kit and sits in a cradle to charge in the car, this then is activated for 5-10 miles depending on the area of coverage, if u hock the alarm up to proximerty the page will go off with a picture of a car and show u if someone is close to the car,

this is good as if somone walks past it it will just say so but as a theif would do and stand a long time by the car it shows, u can then activate the car to do want u like, sound the siren, say " get abck this car is actiaved LOL" or as i recored for a customer " my name is kit but david knigth will be along shortly" in a kit voice LOL
