Title: Nice Toyota Dealership
Post by: Anonymous on June 8, 2004, 16:55
Nice poeple at toyota Guildford are:

Sorting me out a new remote key, about £150 but i don't care as ford are paying (they sold me the car and promised 2 remotes - i've only got 1)

Sticking a brand spanky new set of alloys on, which is good because the previous owner wasn't very good at parking by the looks of it.

Do you think its worth not painting my calipers until they've changed the wheels?

Is there anything else i can get them to do, whilst it's still under warrenty and all that?

***WARNING***

You had better hope that the missing key does not resurface as even if MrT delete it's code from the alarm, the imobiliser entry for the key cannot be removed without replacing the engine ECU, so the key will still start the car.

Really?

Well, the key i believe is in the women who used to own the cars attic, 230 miles away and she doesn't know me.

However thats a bit dodgy, i'll get on to the garage and try to get them to track it down.

Nooooooooo! The key is in the women, though how one key can be in more than one person is a bit of a mystery!

Also this particular car has an attic...  s:lol:  s:lol:  Though it seems to have become detatched and is now 230 miles away.

Just kidding with ya!  s:wink:  s:wink:
