Title: Victim of the PreCat Failure!

Yep! Happened to me. I will be taking the car in monday and hopefully all will go well. Anything I should know before having the work done to it?

Just for the record, what were/are your symptoms to discover the failure.

i.e Was it a routine check, or loosing oil etc

Hope all goes well anyway, i'm sure with all your knowledge of previous pre-cat failures you'll be armed enough to face MrT. If it is loosing oil, make sure they replace the main cat aswell. Good luck.

Ive had the Car for 3 months. I bought it used as a Certified Uesd car. 40,000 miles, I used it for 3000 miles.

I noticed a clanging noise in the head. As I drove it the the dealer today the engine blew on the freeway. There is a nice big hole in the block now.

I actually ran to a liquor Store while waiting for a Tow and bought a throw away. I took some shots when they get developed ill post them. Not sure how well they came out.
