Title: Stained roof lining
Post by: Anonymous on June 18, 2004, 10:04
The inner lining of the soft top has developed white staining on both sides of the roof behind driver and passenger sides where the frame bars are located.Has anybody else had this, and any ideas to clean it off would be appreciated. Have searched forum but can't find any reference.

Iain.

Someone I know once complained something similar. Never saw it myself though.

Have you driven on salted roads during winter..? Cause in his case it was roadsalt. No idea how it gets there though  s:? :? s:?  IIRC, he used some interior (cloth) cleaner to get it off.

Have exactly the same problem with mine. Never really bothered me coz i know i look after the roof. It might be where the roof has gone down for an extended period when it hasn't been fully dry? Apart from that, dunno......
