Title: Can anyone identify these springs?
Post by: spoonsy on May 19, 2013, 06:19
Hi,

Got a MR2 Roadster that I've just took off the road for some routine maintenance. It handles really well on the road (better that my other MR2). I haven't owned the car that long but whilst changing the rear brake pads and disks I noticed that the springs have been up-rated all round.

I've inserted a picture below:-

The fronts are the same, I've managed to get some numbers off the front although its not the full number! I think there is a bit missing off the start of the number!! The part I can read is 170-82001 VA 308/09 * Springs are yellow all round as per pic.

I'm hoping someone on here can identify what I've got here and hopefully advise me where I can get some for my other car and at what sort of price please?

Apex do yellow ones ? and the part number at the bottom of the page is similar to your number .i guess the other numbers are the spring ratings
