Does the UK model have a seat belt warning light ?
reason for asking is
the drivers seat belt on my import didn't always retract very well ,so ive swapped it for the belt of the UK im breaking
the import has an extra electrical connection on it

Yes.
Light in the instrument cluster for drivers side and a light in the middle of the dash board for passengers.
