Title: How to replace aerial mast?!
Post by: Anonymous on July 7, 2004, 20:03
Evening all!!

First post and all that... recently purchased a '2 whose leccy aerial mast is a "little" bent to say the least, as it stands it's doing the car no justice [even though I know a lot of you guys do not like the aerial at all!]

But, having just purchased a replacement mast section how do I go about gaining access to the current one and then fitting the replacment??

Any help would be very much appreciated... thanks in advance.

I beilve you have to get access from under the rear wheel arch once you remove the plastic liner.... I need to do this too, but im to lazy!

did this on my old roadster, and went through from behind the plastics as said, just unclipped the front of the wheel arch plastics and eased it out of the way. very fiddley tho it must be said
